Dear Reuben Smith, Yes the logarithms are given in the implicit base used by cado-nfs. The logarithms are called "virtual" in cado-nfs. The first simple way to obtain the logarithm of your target in your favorite basis G, you need to compute the discrete logarithm of your generator G in the cado-nfs basis, so that you can compute log_{basis G}(target) = log_{cado-nfs basis}(target)/log_{cado-nfs basis}(G).
