I think there is a problem with the ftp server ftp://ftp.mpi-sb.mpg.de where CGAL files are located. The server is up, and it answers to pings. However, none of the files presented on the CGAL download page (http://www.cgal.org/cgi-bin/cgal_download.pl ) are available. For instance: ftp://ftp.mpi-sb.mpg.de/pub/outgoing/CGAL/CGAL-3.3.1.tar.gz
