If you use boost just because of CGAL,you don't have to exactly follow the boost installization instruction.

 

1. download boost_1_34_1.zip(about 23MB) and decompress it.

2. move the whole file to the root directory of the disk where you install Windows,for example,"C:\boost_1_34_1".

 

3. set environment variable properly.

I used msys to install CGAL on windows and I'v already installed boost for windows(The system got BOOSTROOT.) but the the CGAL can not detect Boost on the system.

 

who can tell me what's the reason for?
