Hello,
I have defined Morse Function on a 3D triangulated surface. Can someone tell which is the most
reliable and robust method to calculate critical points of the function on the surface. Many time
the surface is not properly sampled around the curvatures, so some critical points may lie inside
the triangles, how they are calculated ?
Robustness is extremely important because that will decide the Euler Characteristic X = Max - Min + Saddle.
Thanks.
