So... nobody know where I should start?:)

Hello everybody, is the first time I'm writing to a mail list, and also the first time I'm writing to some mathematic oriented people:)

So, I have a so called "program" to do. My Math teacher told me to do it, when we were learning about metric spaces. So I thought it will be an easy one, but it isn't. Anyways, I want to do it, so I can learn more regarding this subject.

This is what I have to do: "Suppose we have some glasses that closes or aways the points at what we are looking, in respect with a metric, let it be for example: Minkowski. HOW we see from a certain point, a sphere for example? "

I've started to work on that, reasearching about metrics and all that stuff. I managed to generate some 3d "balls" in euclidean, minkowski and chebyshev metrics. But the thing is I need to SHOW HOW you will see through that glasses, so my program should generate the viewed-through-the-glasees-image .

has anyone any ideeas where should I start researching from?

Thanks a lot,
Timotei
