Hi everyone,
I tried to use Nef_polyhedron to union two attached polyhedron together. The operation failed reporting that the assertion failed in line 1155 of "..\Include\CGAL\Nef_3\SNC_external_structure.h". When I commented out the two lines:
"CGAL_assertion( cet->get_index() == ce->twin()->get_index());"
"CGAL_assertion( cet->twin()->get_index() == ce->get_index());"
the operation ran smoothly. I was wondering if it's appropriate to comment out these two lines. If it's O.K. (at least with attached files), why are the assertions kept? If not, how to make the union work with the attached closed, valid polyhedron inputs?
Thanks.
Joe
