Hi
(Sorry for spamming Developers/Users not interested in GSOC)
My name is Prathab, I am doing my second year BTech in Computer Science and Engineering
at IIT Madras, India (IITM : www.iitm.ac.in ) and I would like to participate in the CGAL project.
I am interested in the project "Allowing different random number generators to be used in CGAL" listed
in the CGAL project ideas page. Though I have used CGAL libraries before in my assignments/projects I have
not contributed to it. I think this is a good opportunity for me to contribute to CGAL project.
I am skilled in C++ (good), C (good) , python (moderate). Also I have a good understanding of
Probability, Statistics and Random Processes ( which I think is required for the project).
I have stated doing my ground work. Right now I am trying to add distributions
other than the normal distribution to "Geometric Object Generators"
I would be happy to get your comments and advice about contributing to CGAL and finishing the above
mentioned project successfully.
Kind Regards,
Prathab
