== Fedora ==
I maintain the CGAL packages in Fedora, actually. CGAL-3.8-beta1 is already
in
Fedora 15 Beta. I plan to push the last CGAL-3.8 release before Fedora 15 is
officially released.
See for examples the recent updates:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/CGAL
and all builds of CGAL for Fedora:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=1191

I do not know the status of CGAL packages for others RPM distributions. If
there is a need, I could easily maintain the CGAL packages in EPEL, for the
RHEL and CentOS distributions, because the infrastructure of EPEL is shared
with Fedora.

== Debian ==
For the Debian world, Joachim Reichel maintains the Debian packages for CGAL.
See:
http://packages.qa.debian.org/c/cgal.html

CGAL-3.8 is not yet pushed, but I know Joachim and he will do that very soon.
It seems Debian packages ends into Ubuntu after a while. I do not know the
status of CGAL packages in other distributions based on Debian.
