Yes sir, sure I will keep checking GSoC website but what should I do in order to maximize my chances of selection of my proposal in CGAL. I would also like to make myself familiar with CGAL and its developers. So, kindly guide me accordingly.

Google has just announced GSoC for 2012. In the past years CGAL has been involved in GSoCs. Please watch the GSoC page; in case CGAL participates this year again, it will be announced there (and probably also on this list).
