Hi,
I am using the 3D Mesh Generator from CGAL 3.9 to create meshes from
multi-label segmentations. The code is working well except for one thing:
If my domain contains a sub-domain whose characteristic size is about two
orders of magnitude lower then the whole domain (imagine for example a two
millimetre thick needle inside a 100x100x100 mm sized block of tissue), this
sub-domain is simply ignored by the mesher. I tried setting different cell
and surface radii for the different labels using a sizing field and also
played with the other available parameters but can't get it to work. I also
tried to resample my image such that the spacing is smaller but with no
effect.
Do you have any hints about what is going wrong?
Thanks,
Sascha
