Dear all,
I wonder what is the difference between orthogonal kNN and general kNN.
I know general kNN supports spatial object query as well as point query.
However, when it comes to point query,
both of them seem to work exactly same, which means, for the same input, the tree shape, traversing order and the result is the same.
If so, what is the meaning of having orthogonal kNN??
Can anybody explain what the philosophical or essential difference between them?
