CGAL development is and has been carried out in private repositories, but there is a current effort to make the master branch available on Github. I believe there should be some update on this during the upcoming developer meeting in March.

I didn’t find any, neither could I find any browsable official repositories elsewhere.

Instead, I’ve imported all the previous releases I could find here, for the purpose of easier tracking changes between CGAL versions:
