Hi,
Thank you for such detailed explanation.
But i`m not fully sure how it can help with initial question/problem.
There is no problem with using alpha_shape algorithm that identifies
boundary points. The question is: which algorithm or set of algorithms might
be used to extract polygons(get actual physical meaning) from remaining
boundary points. e.g. square or triangle etc...
Appreciate if someone can advise.
