Hi,

since one of the original motivations for having CGAL was narrowing the gap 
between theory in computational geometry and practice in its potential 
application areas, the special session on

        Algorithm Engineering in Geometric Computing

at MACIS2015 might be an interesting opportunity to present your work in this 
light. MACIS is a series of biennial conferences focusing on research in 
mathematical and computational aspects of computing and information science. It 
is broadly concerned with algorithms, their complexity and their embedding in 
larger logical systems. At the algorithmic level, there is the rich interplay 
along the Numerical/Algebraic/Geometric/Topological axes. This year's MACIS 
http://macis2015.zib.de/index.html will take place in Berlin, Germany, 
Wednesday, November 11 – Friday, November 13, 2015.

The deadline for all submissions is Aug 11, 2015. Papers must be categorized as 
SHORT or REGULAR, and indicate a Special Session, SS10 in case of algorithm 
engineering in geometric computing. For more details please have a look at the
