Dear CGAL-Users,

I'm totally new to the CGAL library and want to generate a finite element mesh of a hemispherical shell structure given by an internal and an external radius. There is probably a quite easy way of doing that and I would be thankful if somebody could give me some hints, thanks.

I managed to generate a hemispherical shell structure from a voxel based .inr-file from an example I found online, but the resulting mesh shows a lot of stair-casing and the edges at the bottom of the structure as smoothed. Is there an option to smooth the hemisphere more while preserve the edges at the bottom?

I'd prefer the more accurate solution without a voxel based image, however, this information might also be quite useful for further work. Thank you very much for your help!

Best wishes, Thomas
