Thanks, but can you develop a little bit more your answer. Can I convert 
(read from file) my mesh into a Cgal mesh object?. 

Or maybe I can use the Line Features to impose the edges and the points on 
the interface between domain to be meshed (levelset)  and my mesh so I get a 
compatible triangulation?

Hi,

If the mesh you want to preserve was already created using CGAL, that might 
be feasible. Otherwise, if the mesh you want to preserve does not have the 
properties of CGAL meshes (Delaunay or "regular" criteria), there is no 
chance that the mesh can be preserved as it is.
