Thanks for the report.

I did some tests with the cpp/data you provided. With the default 
parameter 0.008, I find out that the program never finishes (well, at 
least it does not finish after 90 minutes) on my computer. Is this the 
same for you?

If I use 0.01, then it does finish in a few seconds, but the output 
looks very weird (very random topology with many cavities) whereas the 
input is quite simple and should produce a rather simple mesh.

From my tests, it seems that the part that never finishes is not the 
Poisson computation but the meshing: I do not quite understand the 
`signedDistance()` function that you use as a criterion, but my guess is 
that the problem comes from it. What exactly are you trying to mesh with 
this function?
