Hello,
I am currently making use of the "planar parameterization of triangulated surface mesh" package to parameterize/map a 3D triangulated surface to UV space. We have point data which we derive from the UV space data, which we intend to map back to the original
3D triangulated surface. Does CGAL have any examples of mapping the derived UV space data back to the original 3D triangulated surface?
We currently have an implementation for mapping back from the UV space to the 3D space utilizing an AABB tree/barycentric coordinates, but after looking into the actual CGAL implementation of what is occurring in build_AABB_tree() and locate_with_AABB_Tree(),
I have my doubts as to whether this is correctly mapping back from the UV space to the 3D space.
