Hi,

The article of the economist is indeed disapointing in several 
respects. Devlin's note is more interesting but was, I guess, a little 
hastly written in order to be the first to anounce the news.

There is also a note in the april edition of the french magazine "La 
Recherche" and an article in "Science". Both are however not freely 
available online.

Actually the "Economist" article resulted from an exclusivity 
argreement with Microsoft. Now that the article is published, INRIA and 
Microsoft should publish press releases soon.
