You are right! Unfortunately the equations you can add to the field
are restricted to ring equations. No / is allowed or more precisely (/
...) will be abstract as a new variable!
For example, this will not work.
Goal forall x y, x = / y -> x * y = 1.
intros x y H.
field_simplify [H].
