Dear Sir,

I am trying to experiment with starpu with MPI. And am stuck with the following issues.

1. How to run starpu so that it "sees" CPU resources of a machine with different IP address.

In my experimental setup I run MPI over LAN using MPICH. How do I configure starpu so
that it "sees" my machines.

For example
I have MPICH installed over 2 machines with ip addresses x and y.
Now if I install starpu (configure, make and make install) on both my machines separately,
is it okay or do i need to do something else.

As these machines are dual core, I was successful in running the stencil5 example using
MPI using both the cores on the same machine.

2. When I install Starpu, during configure step, it shows that number of cpus is 16.
The processor is  i3-530, which is a dual core processor and each core has 2 hyperthreads.
Thus the resource is actually at max 4. Can u please explain why the number 16 is reported.
Has something gone wrong during the installation of starpu?

With Thanks and Regards
