[Starpu-devel] Performances and starpu_data_set_sequential_consistency_flag

Hello,

I noticed a strange behaviour in StarPU 1.1.3.

I have a data used by many of my tasks, always in read mode.

I don't think I should give a special consistency_flag but if i comment the line :
starpu_data_set_sequential_consistency_flag((*blocktab_handles)[iter], 0);

I get really poor performances : i.e. 3.09e+03 seconds vs 263 seconds on a test case, or 54.4 seconds vs 11.9 seconds on a smaller one...

So I reactivated the flag...

Have you got any idea why this happen ?
