Hello

I have asked some questions regarding StarPU without an answer. I will try one more time.

I have tried using StarPU but the created tasks are executed sequentially.

I have used the example from the parallel_workers folder. So I create multiple groups of a given number of threads. Then I launch tasks equal to the number of groups. I would expect there would be some sort of contention, but the execution time is equal with the sum of the tasks...

Thank you.

Best regards,
Doru

Hello,

We are going to need more informations. Which version of StarPU did you use ? How did you configure it ?

What exactly did you observe when running your application ? And which application did your run ?

Most of us are on holidays, the next answers might have a long delay.

Cheers,

Nathalie
