Hi Linda,

as you are new:

- Never reply to a mail starting with a completely new topic.
- Have a look at the online manual and maybe start with the package overview:
  http://www.cgal.org/Manual/3.3/doc_html/cgal_manual/packages.html
  Click on "Polygons and Polyhedra"
  In the paragraph on "3D Polyhedral Surface" you see on the right links to
  the User and Reference Manual. The former is full of examples which should
  answer your question.
