Yes, I am trying to slices a triagle surface mesh (.stl).
The project wich I am developing is educational, the site in Portuguese is www.upf.br/3dgemas, the development institution is Universidade de Passo Fundo - RS/ Brazil. 

If you can, please, send me the codes, I'd be glad.

do you want to slice a triangle surface mesh? ie, a CGAL polyhedron (triangular) ?

this is not yet in CGAL but I have some code to do this - if you tell us more about the project (for education?) I can send this to you.
