hi Mengda, to be more precise - the surface mesh generator of CGAL does only isotropic meshes - but if you specify an approximation error (say with a large sizing criterion) then the mesh locally adapts (in size albeit still isotropic) to the curvature of your input surface. if you check the manifold_tag option which forces the output surface mesh to be 2-manifold it furthermore adapts to the local feature size which captures curvature, thickness and separation altogether. pierre Mengda Wu a écrit : You mentioned CGAL surface mesher can directly generate triangle with size adapted to the curvature. |
