Hello,
I'm planning to develop an application to create fake geological maps for
teaching purposes. The idea is to define rock units of arbitrary shape and
orientation bounded by one or more surfaces, a landscape surface and to
calculate and display the outcrop patterns (intersection of landscape and
geological bounding surfaces).
I think CGAL may provide most of the tools that I need but I know nothing of
computational geometry. Perhaps someone can comment on my plan.
Please accept my apologies if the question is too vague. I'll be glad to
provide more detail if that will help.
Thanks,
Roger
