Of course I can check/change "manually" the list of people subscribed to cgal-discuss.
If you receive the transaction on the list, you should be able to post in it.
Otherwise there might be some trouble with your outgoing server ....
From what I see, you are currently subscribed under the address
So I don't know why you can't post ...
which is different from
You need to make sure your sender address is
or
to subscribe with
You might try to unsubscribe ans resubscribe but I don't think this will change something
Anyway your request is perfectly appropriated to the list.
That's the kind of request which makes CGAL developpers figure out
where CGAL documentation need to be improved.
The answer to your question is in section 7 of the installation manuel
available there :
http://www.cgal.org/Manual/latest/doc_html/installation_manual/Chapter_installation_manual.html#Subsection_4.4
In case no CMakeLists.txt has been created you can use cgal_create_cmake_script documented here:
http://www.cgal.org/Manual/latest/doc_html/installation_manual/Chapter_installation_manual.html#Subsection_C.1
S.
I cc cgal-discuss in case somebody has an idea with respect to your problem
for posting on cgal-discuss.

Hi Mariette,
In the past, I was able to send messages to cgal-discuss. In fact, I still
get all of the messages from cgal-discuss every day. I hate to sign up twice
and get the messages twice.
Is there some way you can check my email address on the cgal-discuss list?
There have been some changes in our email program at JPL which may have
altered my email address without my knowing.
Sorry for the extra work for you.
Also, I wonder if you can answer my very basic and dumb question which may
not be appropriate for the cgal-discuss list anyway.
I need to find out how to compile a new program using cgal. I have not been
able to find the instructions in the user's guide or on the cgal website. I
have an installed working version of cgal, but have not been able to figure
out how to compile new programs.
Thanks for your help. I look forward to the day when I can use cgal for my
data analysis.

you just need to subscribe to the list
which can be easily done by going on the Mailing Lists page
of CGAL web site http://www.cgal.org/mailing_list.html
and clicking on the "subscribe" of cgal-discuss

Dear CGAL-DISCUSS Forum:
I signed up as a CGAL user and should be on the list. How do I submit
a request for help? What else do I need to sign up?
Thanks.
