What a bout the alpha-shape? Because by using alpha-shape (after having
performed tries with what you mentioned above...) I get something pretty
interesting as well (I need to stay as close as possible to my original
points...)
One thing, after doing a "NORMAL ESTIMATION and orientation" and then the
"poisson reconstruction" I lose some of the point, meaning that the result
shape from the poisson reconstruction does not "fit" my original points.
