Hi,

I am an undergraduate student of Computer Science and Engineering. I have strong mathematical background too. And I want to volunteer CGAL in GSoC 2012. I saw some projects on the ideas page and I was a bit disappointed due to the fact that I wasn't familiar with any of them. But when I filtered them by required skill I found one Extend the packages Combinatorial maps and Linear cell complex(Required skill: C++, Generic Programming). When I read the details of this project I felt that I can contribute to this project if guided. So can anyone guide me through so that I can prepare & learn the things that are required for this project beforehand.

My skill sets are C, C++, Core Java, Strong Mathematical Background.

PS - I am brand new to the software development and I have no experience in the same. But I'm quick learner and hard worker so I can learn things quickly and put my heart and soul to this project.
