Thank you for your answer Sebastien,
I am trying to adapt my project to use the mesh generation of CGAL, which
should be more than feasible to me. I will simply input either a density map
and place nodes accordingly or an image and just place nodes on that.
However, since the idea of optimizing and already generated mesh is
attractive to me, let me follow up on that path too.
My mesh fits inside a weighted Delaunay triangulation, my node space fits
inside a bounding box and I have already tried to use a weighted Delaunay
triangulation to hold the data, I do not care about loosing some points (or
not using them).
So, do you have any suggestion on how could I proceed in using refine_mesh
to refine a weighted Delaunay triangulation or just the triangulation of a
set of points?
