Hello
I have been using 3D mesh generator of CGAL for a while and this is the
first time I notice this.
I have a 2-region labeled image saved in an INR file:
INRIMAGE-4#{
XDIM=256
YDIM=256
ZDIM=70
VDIM=1
TYPE=unsigned fixed
PIXSIZE=8 bits
CPU=decm
VX=0.500000
VY=0.500000
VZ=1.000000
I used the example code provided with CGAL-4.0 to create a 3D mesh:
examples/Meshi_3/mesh_3D_image.cpp
and these are the parameters I used for mesh creation:
facet_angle=25, facet_size=1.0, facet_distance=0.5,
cell_radius_edge_ratio=3, cell_size=1.0
The final mesh includes tetrahedrons with only one label rather than two.
I have attached one slice of the segmented image to this email. The blue
region in the middle exists in 17 slices out of total 70 slices in the image
stack.
Which parameters I should be fiddling with in order to get the second region
in my final mesh?
Or am I missing something bigger?
thanks in advance,
