At the CGAL developers meeting were the switch to CMake was presented and
voted, we collectively decided that Boost.Thread was a strong (non optional)
requirement. It was for the simplicity of the CMake scripts. At that time,
the
couple GMP/MPFR was also a strong requirement. Now we are trying to make GMP
an option, and maybe we could at the same time work on Boost.Thread.
