Hi,

I am trying to compile some CGAL examples and demos through MinGW however I
am running into some problems. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Boost ver: 1.57
Qt ver: 4.8.6
CGAL ver: 4.5.1
Everything is compiled with MinGW for 32 bit

When trying to compile the examples of Arrangement_on_surface_2, I first get
some warnings about redeclaration without dllimport and then some errors
about undefined references. This is the output:

I'm not too sure what is happening in terms of whether the issues with
redeclaration are causing the undefined references or if they are unrelated.
When looking up similar issues with the dllimport attribute, the solutions
that I found involved defining BUILDING_DLL but that does not really seem
appropriate for this context.

Next, when trying to compile the demos for Arrangement_on_surface_2, I get a
parse error at BOOST_JOIN as shown in the output here:

I have read that the QT MOC has issues with this macro which cause this
problem however based on the messages in the discussion linked below, I
understand this to have been patched in CGAL. I have checked the two
relevant .h files that were patched and can see that they have the patch in
them so I am not sure why this error comes up.

Lastly, this is not exactly relevant but I am trying to get this to work
with MinGW due to problems that I had run into when compiling these examples
with MS Visual Studio as explained in the link below. Again, not relevant to
my questions here but if anyone has any advice on that topic, it would be
greatly appreciated.
