I agree. My question is how do I tile the leaf-nodes of AABB tree
with tetrahedra such that I get a valid mesh. 

I am looking for a 3D analogous to what is shown in this paper's
http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~jrs/meshpapers/BernEppsteinGilbert.pdf
figure 5(page 11).
