yes I just tried the surface deformation plugin on a gingival mesh.
I post the photo about the result

I tried the deformation plugin but with poor results.
I have defined three regions of vertices that represent the vertices of the gingiva on which lies each tooth. Move the central region keep fix the two adjacent regions.
The result I get doing a rotation is not nice. I want a smooth surface like in the video that I posted.

It may be one brick in such a simulation.
