Hi Konstantinos,

Have a look in some of the file writer headers (eg include/CGAL/IO/Complex_3_in_triangulation_3_to_vtk.h) to see a trick used to enumerate vertices using a map. You can use this to convert a CGAL representation into your own.

The important point to note is the Vertex_handle can be used as a key in a map.
