Thanks for your report. We have fixed the compilation on Mac recently, so that if you take our last svn tarball, it should compile and work fine. It is available at http://starpu.gforge.inria.fr/testing/starpu-nightly-latest.tar.gz

Concerning hwloc, StarPU relies on pkg-config to detect where hwloc is installed. If you type "pkg-config hwloc --libs" this should for instance tell you the link flags required by hwloc, otherwise it will tell you that pkg-config cannot find hwloc, in that case you should update PKG_CONFIG_PATH.

Please note that I have installed hwloc software also. Could you help me in this regard.
