[Starpu-devel] Building starpu examples with MSVC

I've been compiling some of the examples from the starpu repository 
using MSVC and have found that the use of C99 style in the examples 
(for which MSVC has no support) and some unprotected GCC builtins in 
macros (e.g. __builtin_expect() in starpu_util.h) have caused some 
problems and need to be worked around.

I am able to send patches to make the headers and examples 
compilable with MSVC - would they be accepted?
