Hi,

Sir, you have very clearly said that starpu can be used by researchers to plug in their schedulers, to experiment.

Thanks for making scheduler as a plug-in into starpu.

Now, i wish to try new scheduling methods.

Which benchmarks to use ? Should i use the ones given in examples folder.

Are there are few more benchmarks to try ?

I have read about task scheduling.

According to you, which applications would be greatly benefited using tasks, instead of threads only.

 Please mention few such applications.

last query - how are threads scheduled by starpu ?

with best wishes
uma

See paragraph 5.9 "Parallel Tasks" of the StarPU handbook.
