ok, i was actually using gcc, but i named the file "main.cpp" instead of "main.c" which was pushing it to g++ automatically. With gcc it seems to work

Now, this might raise a problem for my project. Will i have any trouble if i compile the kernels separately as C code with gcc, but invoke them within C++ code?
Also, are these issues just specific to the plugin version? if required, i might just have use the API version, as long as it is more stable

And by the way, should i expect the same performance between both versions (Plugin and API)?

Ah, I can reproduce it too with g++, specifically:

I see what the problem is, but for now, you’ll have to use ‘gcc’, not ‘g++’.

Can you confirm that compiling the example with ‘gcc’ instead of ‘g++’ works?

TIA,
Ludo’.
