In comparison, here is what I got with Starpu 1.2.5:

ISched initialization time 1.455665e-02 s
StarPU initialization time 5.674529e-02 s

I just realized that I didn't change the way I initialized/shutdown 
StarPU as you did in Chameleon. Can it be related ?
