This is freakin' amazing! Yes! I'm realy happy to see other kinds of
space being considered in CGAL. On another side note, have you all
seen TopMod? From their website:

"TopMod3d is a free, open source, portable, platform independent
topological mesh modeling system that allows users to create high
genus 2-manifold meshes."

http://www.topmod3d.org/

Really nice work they've done to codify a minimal set of topological
operations for mesh construction while preserving topology.
