I read the documentation about segment Delaunay diagrams, and got a bit confused with the terms. I couldn’t follow what exactly do I get as “output sites”. Are these new delaunay segments, e.g., segments between input point, which aren’t also input segments? I don’t exactly follow how this segment Delaunay diagram actually looks like. Also, the segment voronoi diagram contains parabolic edges, but I see that all output function produce either points or segments. Am I missing something?

 

My goal is to compute the (internal) medial axis points of a polygon.
