I am using CGAL to develop a  general purpose GIS tool that will determine the intersection of two delaunay triangulations (Triangulated Irregular Networks).  I envision this tool being used to delineate flood inundation areas based on LiDAR ground surface data and triangulated water surface data, but it may have other uses as well.  Ultimately I would like to make this tool a plug-in for the QGIS program. Currently it is a stand alone application.  This is a personal project I am working on.
