I am not sure about what kind of project you are talking. But the 
implementation I am currently working on solves the problem of 
calculating visibility polygons for points inside a polygon. Actually it 
is even less restrictive and can calculate visibility polygons of points 
in any arrangement without isolated vertices (not only polygons and 
query points do not have to lie inside).
