not in the next future.

The cgal mesh generator is based on Delaunay refinement
and it may have to refine the surface mesh
to generate a quality volume mesh.

Dear Mariette, thanks for the quick reply.

Are there any plans to implement such a features ?

Sorry.

Dear CGAL developers,

I need to tessellate a volume into tetrahedra using the Mesh 3 routines in
CGAL,
given a prescribed surface triangulation so that this original surface
triangulation remains and is not replaced, in other words, I need
to keep the original surface triangulation a part of the eventual
tetrahedral mesh.

Is this possible with CGAL 4.0.2 ?

Thanks, Benedikt
