yes, i noticed that feature when i was fixing this error.
But since my approach worked, and i don't want to use that GPU for any kind of processing anyway, it didn't seem worth the extra trouble

Oh, indeed.

Or better, you can use the .can_execute hook to tell StarPU more
precisely which device can execute which kernel.
