I am going to look at a MPI version of starpu_task_build(). It will have to be split in 2 calls, but it should not be too difficult to implement.

Cheers,

Nathalie

Is there a way to use the starpu_mpi_insert_task(), tell StarPU to set the
destroy field to 0, and get the generated task to be able to do retrieve some
profiling info from it ?
You can use starpu_task_build, which works the same as insert_task, but
just builds the task, and then you can submit it. We don't have the MPI
version for it, but it should be feasible not too hardly.
