Hello,
Can someone let me know whether the following routines are
available or not in CGAL?
1. Genus computation for a point cloud.
2. Collision detection and minimum distance/penetration computation
between two non-convex objects in 3-D. Input may be triangulated mesh of
object boundary.
3. Reconstruction of a surface from point cloud data.
Thanks and Regards,
Hari

Amenta's powercrust is quite good for generating watertight (?)
volumes from unorganized point sets. It's reasonably fast as well, try
playing with the -R option.
For many other purposes (say, visualization), a suitable VTK filter
will be sufficient.
thanks.
